Junior Infants to Second class have been learning that we all come from different types of families and they are all normal and all ok. There are families with mams and dads, families with step mothers and step fathers, there are families with just a dad or just a mam. There are famillies with two mammies or two daddies and there are children who live with foster parents or are adopted. We learned that a familiy is somewhere you are loved and it does not matter who is in it. We drew pictures of our families and made a huge collage of them.
