Playroom in Killygarry N.S.

Over the Halloween break we installed a new playroom in the school. There is a ball pit, a slanted climbing wall, a trampette, a rope climbing wall, steps and slide, a seated area, a padded radiator cover and sensory wall and padded flooring and walls. We also put in a padded sensory area in the Junior Infant Classroom. This area will be used to help build our pupils gross motor skills as well as help to regulate and calm children who have sensory issues or give children a break from the hustle and bustle of the classroom.
